MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling is non-invasive procedure that uses several very small needles to puncture the skin, stimulating cells and creating more collagen and elastin in your skin. The rapid growth of new skin cells fill in lines and wrinkles and results in a natural, smoother and more refreshed appearance.

How does treatment work?

Using the SkinPen Precision device, the only FDA approved microneedling pen, multiple miniscule, controlled wounds are made on the surface of your skin. This produces extra elastin and collagen, which in turn, makes your skin look plumper, smoother and more refreshed.

The whole procedure takes less than an hour to complete and the number of treatments needed will depend on the condition of your skin and the results you’d like to achieve, but 3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart is typical.

What are the benefits of Microneedling?

  • Quick and simple procedure

  • Safe, natural and effective

  • Firms and tightens skin

  • Smooths fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improves acne scars and hyperpigementation

  • More youthful and rejuvenated skin appearance

  • No recovery or downtime

  • Healthier and happier skin

When combined with a PRP injection, the results are even more impressive, as microneedling allows the PRP molecules to penetrate more easily, infuse deeper into the skin and stimulate more growth factors.

Is there any downtime needed after treatment?

Right after your microneedling treatment, your skin will appear slightly pink to red, similar to a mild to moderate sunburn for up to 12 to 48 hours. You will be able to return to your normal activities without any restrictions.

How long does it take to see results?

Results may be visible after one session, however to obtain optimal results, a series of 3-6 treatments is recommended. As your body produces new collagen and elastin fibers, new skin will replace the old, resulting in improved skin texture and youthful appearance, which can last up to 2 years.
