Catherine McGinty, FNP-BC

​

Catherine DeBow McGinty is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with specialty training in hormonal health, menopause, and female sexual and pelvic floor medicine.

​

She received her nursing degree at Villanova University and her Master of Science in Nursing at George Mason University. She started her nursing career as a Navy Nurse, providing orthopedic, surgical and emergency care in San Diego and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; and did one deployment in Kuwait supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

​

After graduate school, she worked at CVS MinuteClinic and then Rittenhouse Women’s Wellness Center. She is an active member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and American Association for Nurse Practitioners.

​

She is passionate about discussion, education and awareness of the taboo and trivial, while being down to earth and good-humored.
